Given the incessantly inclement weather we’ve been enduring in recent weeks, late venues changes for matches have understandably become more common. Once again there are a few to report this weekend, with tomorrow’s LGFA game against Cork and the NHL one against Offaly now going ahead at altered locations.
For the women, the switch sees their LGFA NFL Division One match against high-flying Cork moving to Mallow. Throw-in there remains 2pm.
The hurlers, meanwhile, are heading away from MacHale Park to the staple port-in-a-storm venue within the county, the Connacht Centre of Excellence at Bekan. Like the women’s match, the throw-in time for this NHL Division 2A clash with Offaly remains the same and will get going at 2pm tomorrow afternoon.
