A message from us – Mayo Football Podcast 2023 E27

As the curtain comes down on another year, and the FBD League looms on the horizon in January, on the Mayo Football Podcast we’re taking an opportunity to check in with all our listeners.

In this episode, Mike, Rob and I reflect on two years of welcoming club members to the Mayo Football Podcast on Patreon and tell you why you should sign up if you haven’t already.

We explain how to join as an annual member for just €1 a week and we give a flavour of what you can look forward to on the pod in 2024. This year we’ve released over 150 shows, featuring in the process over 125 different voices, and our ambition is to make the podcast even bigger and better next year.

Before the New Year dawns, however, we’ll also have a few more podcast shows for our club members. The first of these is already in the can, in which Mike is joined by regular guests Colm Boyle, Ger Flanagan and Paddy Finnegan, and it’ll be up on Patreon tomorrow. Club members should also stay tuned for the other pods we’re planning on releasing before year-end.

If you want to sign up for monthly or annual club membership on Patreon you can do so here.

As well as making this pod available to our club members, it’s also up on iTunes, Spotify, Podomatic and SoundCloud. You can also listen to the show here on the blog using the SoundCloud player below.

We’d like to wish all of our listeners a very Happy Christmas and New Year.

  1. Happy Christmas Lads and go raibh maith agaibh for another fantastic year of content.
At least January will bring some games on as its been 6 months that’s felt like a year since a match proper.
    Slan agus Beannacht

  2. I’m looking for help. If I renew my season ticket, how can I transfer it to someone else? Can I officially transfer it on the record? If not, it would be awkward. All notifications are sent to the ticket holder and payment for match tickets is taken from their account. If I cancel my ticket, is there any way I can transfer it to a friend?

  3. Grainne Uaile, I nearly sure you can’t transfer it officially. And if you don’t renew/ cancel it, your thrown on the scrapheap and more than likely ,never able to get back in.

Best to email seasonticket office to and see, I could be wrong

  4. Our Christmas special pod is up on Patreon. Mike is joined on it by Colm Boyle, Ger Flanagan and Paddy Finnegan. It’s a great bit of Christmas chat.

  5. Happy Xmas to everybody at mayogaablog.
I see jurgen klopp the Liverpool manager is imploring the supporters to shout and cheer at the games or else to give the ticket to somebody else who will roar and cheer on the team. It reminded me of posters on here imploring every supporter to shout for the whole game in support of the MAYO team. Somehow I cannot see kevin Mcstay copying jurgen klopp.
