A week to go to our live podcast event in New York

We’re now counting down the days to next week’s trip to New York, ahead of Mayo’s Connacht Championship opener against the Exiles over in Gaelic Park on Sunday week.

Before the game, this night week to be precise, we’re hosting a live podcast event, in conjunction with the Mayo Gaelic Football club of New York, in The Joyce Public House at 315 W 39th Street (throw-in 8pm local time).

Mike, Rob and I will be there on the night, special guests Colm Boyle and John Casey will be there as well and there’ll be others we’ll be chatting to too on the night. The event should set everyone up nicely for Gaelic Park on the Sunday.

This live event forms part of what’s set to be a hectic schedule for us on the podcast during our time over in the Big Apple. Our club members on Patreon can look forward to hearing a number of podcast shows from us while we’re in New York, including, needless to say, a Final Whistle pod that we’ll be recording at Gaelic Park once the match is over. Details on how to join the club are here.

We’re looking forward to meeting up with Mayo supporters over in the Big Apple next week, including at the event this night week. It promises to be a fun few days for all of us across the pond.

The Mayo Football Podcast has partnered with EBS — The Mortgage Masters — this season.

EBS are looking to hear from Mayo supporters who are living at home or abroad who might be looking for some mortgage advice.

They have an office in Castlebar where you can arrange an appointment to call in for a chat, or you can find them online by searching for ‘EBS Castlebar’ or by clicking here.
