(This penultimate round fixture transpired subsequently to be, in effect, the All-Ireland final as well. The two other semi-finalists that year, Dublin and Tyrone, were both disqualified due to having fielded over-age players and Tipperary were declared All-Ireland champions. The Sunday Independent dated 21st October 1934 carries a report on the circumstances of the awarding of the All-Ireland MFC title to Tipperary.)
