  1. He didn’t, Peter, although he was a member of the Senior panel in 1989, started in the drawn Connacht semi-final against Galway that year and appeared as a sub in the replayed Connacht final against Roscommon.

    By the way, facts like this are easily confirmed (or disproved) by using the search function on the results archive here on the site. You can filter by player name, by grade, by competition and by date. It’s a great tool, developed by a friend of the blog, and it’s there to be used by all.
