It’s Connacht final day and here’s hoping that our lads can make it three Connacht titles in a row at minor level this afternoon when they square up to Galway on the undercard at McHale Park (throw-in 1.30 pm). I’ll be following this one from afar, having got my fix of live action along with the little lad yesterday at Croke Park, where the Dubs put in an improved, if at times incoherent, performance to see off Armagh and reach Round 4 of the qualifiers.
For those of you who won’t be there today to see the shiny new surface at McHale Park either, Midwest will be providing live commentary of the minor game, as will the Mayo News, via the web. I’ll probably tweet a bit as I’m listening to the match, as no doubt the other usual suspects – notably Club Mayo Dublin – will be doing as well. I’ll also do a report (of sorts) later on. Well, seeing as the Mayo Advertiser’s Colm Gannon has buggered off to New York on his hols, he’s not going to be doing his usual early doors match report, is he?
Anyway, good luck to the minors, who hopefully will give the home support something to cheer about on this novel Connacht final day.
abba take a chance on me on midwest now , but it is coming in loud and clear here in germany so happy days. come on mayo!
