Camogie action starts this weekend

When I did that post the other evening about matches involving Mayo that are on this coming weekend, I missed one game that’s taking place. At that stage I wasn’t aware that the Camogie Leagues are getting underway at the weekend but now I am and so there’s another Mayo match to add to the list, this one taking place on Saturday.

The county’s camogie team – still being managed by Aghamore’s Jimmy Lyons – are now operating in Division 3A, having won the Division 3B title last year. On Saturday, they open their League campaign with a match away to Armagh, with the match set to be played at Middletown GAA club (UK post code BT60 4JG) where throw-in is 2pm. Tickets for the match are available to purchase here.

The best of luck to the camogie team as they start out on another year of inter-county action.
