Camogie, LGFA fixtures this weekend

The big match down in Tralee on Saturday evening isn’t the only Mayo game on this weekend. In fact, there here are two camogie matches involving the county being contested over the coming weekend, as well as an LGFA one.

Starting with camogie, the Juniors are in League action against Wicklow where they’ll be aiming for two wins from two outings, following their opening round victory over Louth last time out. Venue and time details have yet to be confirmed for this match.

The Minors, meanwhile, are up against Tyrone this weekend in the All-Ireland Minor C championship semi-final. That match is fixed for Templeport St. Aidans GAA club on Sunday, with a 2pm throw-in.

Finally, the county’s women Minor footballers have a match this weekend. They’re in Connacht Championship action, in the form of a first round tie away Leitrim. That game throws in at Annaduff GAA club at 2pm on Sunday.

The best of luck to all Mayo teams in action this weekend.

  1. For anybody wondering where Templeport St Aidens is located it’s Bawnboy village in west Cavan. Annaduff is located on the N4 south of Carrick on Shannon.
