The county’s camogie team were in League action this afternoon and a winning appearance it proved to be too.
Today’s game was a Camogie League Division 4 semi-final against Wicklow at Rathdowney. In what was a high-scoring encounter, Mayo emerged victorious from the Laois venue on a 2-12 to 4-3 scoreline. They now face Tyrone in the Division 4 final, as the O’Neill County beat Louth by 1-24 to 2-5 in today’s other Division 4 semi-final.
Well done to the Mayo team and the best of luck to them in the Division 4 final.
Well done ladies. Sometimes these games get overlooked by some of us especially when the football team is in action but as mayo fans we’re all rooting for ye. Again well done and good luck in the final.
