Time for the last-but-one update on this year’s championship mini-league where the spoils are still up for grabs between the top two who, between them, have dominated the leaderboard for most of the summer. Neither of them gained any ground on the other last weekend, with both tipping the Dubs to win by the same margin, and so the title is now set to be decided on All-Ireland final day.
Mayo Mick holds the advantage in the form of a 16-point lead and with Kerry the favourites for Sam, opting for them would seem to be the most risk averse option. But what if Opt 2 Miss Teek goes for the Dubs? And what if Pat Gilroy’s lads go and do it? All questions to be answered on September 18th.
