This is another thing that should have been done before now but better late than never. For years now, the summer action has been accompanied by the Mayo GAA Blog Championship Prediction Mini-League, hosted by those kind people at facetheball.com, and this year’s one is ready to set sail. I’m still smarting from my hair’s breadth loss in the League variant last month but sure that was only the League – this is Championship.
If you want to take part in this year’s competition, it’s all very straightforward. Here’s what you have to do: log in (or register, if you haven’t yet done so) at facetheball.com, join the 2014 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship competition, click to enter this and then click on the “Join Mini League” option on the panel on the left-hand side of the screen. This will prompt you to enter the mini-league’s ID code which is D7xWxFQCOwTC. (From experience, it’s best to copy and paste this code directly from here). Click “Join” and that’s you sorted.
If you do plan to take part, then you need to get motoring pronto. The first match is on tomorrow evening so the deadline for the first week’s predictions is tomorrow evening at 7pm.
Best of luck to all those taking part.
Good on ya WJ, just joined there now, though I must warn you, after my performance in the league predictions, I’ll be a sure bet for the wooden spoon!! 🙂
No, that’s my spot Mick! Looking at my dire performance, I clearly know nothing about football 😀
If anyone wants to join the Club ’51 league while you’re in there, our code is cgWypkoHP23F – all welcome.
One thing is for sure, we’ll have our work cut out to beat the Maestro himself, WJ!
Just joined both leagues. I’m called Black Cards Ahoy!
All signed up as Mayor McCheese WJ..should be fun..thanks for the reminder.
