The action in this year’s championship gets going in earnest this coming weekend (and don’t we know) so it’s time for the formal launch of this year’s championship prediction mini-league. This is the tenth year the competition has been running here on the site and, as has been the case every year it’s been on, all the necessary under-the-bonnet wizardry comes courtesy of Facetheball.com.
The prize for winning the mini-league is, as usual, non-existent. Who needs such illusory baubles, though, with so much glory at stake?
So, if you fancy a shot at celebrity status, mini-league style, here’s what you need to do:
- Log in (or register, if you haven’t yet done so) at facetheball.com.
- Under the ‘Competitions’ heading on the left-hand side click on the “GAA Football” tab and then join the ‘2018 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship’ competition and click to enter this.
- This takes you to the area where you make your weekly predictions and there are also a number of tabs on the panel on the left-hand side of the screen. Click the “Join Mini League” option, which will prompt you to enter the mini-league’s ID code.
- The code you need to enter is dRqqZbNafxY2 (it’s probably easiest just to copy and paste this directly from here).
- Click “Join” and that’s you in.
The deadline for the first set of predictions in this year’s competition is 5pm on Saturday 12th May so, if you plan to get involved, then best do so without delay.
Best of luck to all who take part in this year’s prediction mini-league.
WJ you might check the code there for the mini league, you’ve “is” included in it!
Thanks, Mick – in-house quality control (the young buck) caught that error soon after the post went up. Sorted now.
See that the Connacht Minor Championship match v the Rossies is now at Kiltoom on Friday evening. Is there any chance we could fix a match v Roscommon for Belmullet? Also the Junior sem v Leitrim [the Connacht champions] is now on Thurs evening at 7 pm in Carrick on Shannon, not Weds as originally fixed.
Theres a fine pitch in Belmullet Andy, I’m sure that wouldn’t be a problem next time theres a return fixture. Our minor squad could coincide it with a training camp at Colaiste Uisce so they’d be grand and refreshed for the arrival of the RossieBus
