The draws for this year’s Senior, Intermediate and Junior club championships are being held tonight at MacHale Park. If you can’t make it to Castlebar, though, but would still like to follow proceedings the draws are being streamed live by Mayo GAA TV.

Full details on the streaming service for tonight’s championship draws are here. This is a free-to-air event with coverage starting at 8pm.

Tonight (no later than 7.30pm) is also the night for the weekly draw in the Mayo GAA Lotto. The jackpot prize is creeping up again and now stands at €6,900. This week’s draw also includes a hotel stay and tickets for Sunday’s match against Galway. Full details on that are here and you can play the Lotto here.

UPDATE: Full details of tonight’s championship draw are as follows: Senior, Intermediate, Junior A, Junior B.

  1. Great to have the draws streamed. Anyone know the score with Hollymount / Hollymount Carramore or An other ???

  2. On a side note DCU are playing UCD at the minute. UCD on top, starting the game with Seven points to no score.
Stephen Coen playing CB for UCD, Eoghan McGrath Cill Chomain on the bench. Akram CB Durcan LHB Diarmuid RHF started for DCU, Eddie Doran #21, Michael Hall #25 and Brain Reape #29 on the bench. No Matthew Ruane or Michael Plunkett.

  3. UCD won that game above. I think we only have two players- Stephen Coen and Conor Loftus – left in semi finals of Sigerson cup. Brian Reape is surely injured??

  4. Stephen Brennan Claremorris and Adam Gallagher are both on the NUIG team who beat UCC today South Mayo.

  5. @mayomessi keep us posted on sigerson SF.
Particularly Akram as he is being bandied about a lot here.
Personally I think this year he. Is capable of impact sub at best. The type of fresh legs you would not want to have to mark with fifteen minutes to go…
Any great to get your views keep it up and come back to us

  6. @Liam Adam Gallagher set up only goal of the game and scored one point from free. Let’s hope we will see plenty of him next Sunday in salthill

  7. The reason Matthew Ruane has not featured with DCU this year Is that he is on his work placement year with G T in Galway, he will be back in DCU to complete his degree next year,
Not aware of any injuries with Brian Reape.

  8. Handy enough draw for Westport tonight. I’d say they’ll go far in the championship this year.

Ballintubber and Breaffy in the same group too.

  9. Someone told me today that ref at the weekend in Castlebar was just “let the game flow”. Can some of the genius’s here on this blog explain that sentence to a very simple man. I understand that Gaelic Games is governed by rules. There is even a Book of Rules which in time of idleness and abandonment I even read at one stage. I don’t remember any part in the rules which cover the responsibility of the referee to” let the game flow”. I would even go so far as to say there is not such call to the referee. Yet you can hardly pick up a newspaper report or listen to a media outlet where this is not belted out in your face if you pardon the pun. Having an official in charge who does not have a handle of the rules so his interventions through out the game are ignored to the advantage of one side over the other must be what this is all about? The unknown unknown?

  11. Mayo88 – for the love of God, can’t you see I’ve enough to be doing at Moderation HQ without having to come at you with the wavin pipe for posting stories about alleged nefarious local goings-on? You’ve been commenting here long enough to know this is no place for posting tittle-tattle of that kind.

  12. Sorry to annoy you willie Joe, but I’m not living in Mayo and was looking for news on this issus that’s all.

  13. You posted an unconfirmed rumour alleging something untoward was going on there, Mayo88. If it’s news you want, buy the local papers and don’t be polluting the site with blather. There’s plenty in the papers this week about that very issue.

  14. James – it has, full details are in the update I added to the post from Wednesday entitled “Club championship draws on tonight”. I’ve provided links there to the groups and fixtures for the SFC, IFC, JFC A and JFC B.
