It’s down to the last four in the race for the Moclair, Sweeney and McDonnell Cups as the club Championships within the county approach the business end. In this episode of the Mayo Football Podcast, specially extended for club members, host Rob Murphy is joined by Ger Flanagan and Stephen Drake as they look ahead to the Senior, Intermediate and Junior semi-finals this coming weekend.
The lads start by discussing a strange fixture logjam that, as well as the men’s semi-finals, also includes the LGFA Senior final on Sunday and they ask why there couldn’t have been some more prudent fixture scheduling this weekend. The lads then go on to discuss all the weekend’s big games and they tackle the tough task of predicting a winner in each of them.

2 absolute hum dinger IFC games today, lots of drama and momentum swings
As a neutral today I’m hoping both ballina and Westport drive on to the final , tubber bore me to death and I never feel they can do anything outside of mayo , Westport bring a new type of energy to the club scene in mayo and are very exciting at times although they won’t get it handy from castlebar today but you feel like it will be another year or two before castlebar get to their peak with this squad .
How much are they charging today to watch the two games ?
