Club Championship football action within the county is still a fortnight away but there are a fair few matches in this weekend so here’s a run down on what’s happening.
The Leagues have reached the Divisional final stage and these are the deciders taking place this weekend:
- DIVISION 1: Knockmore v Castlebar Mitchels, Sunday 21st August at 3.15pm, James Stephens Park, Ballina
- DIVISION 2: Davitts v Parke/Keelogues/Crimlin, Sunday 21st August at 2.30pm, Fr O’Hara Park, Charlestown
- DIVISION 3: Killala v Bonniconlon, Sunday 21st August at 1.30pm, James Stephens Park, Ballina
- DIVISION 4: Charlestown B v Breaffy B, Sunday 21st August at 12pm, Claremorris
- DIVISION 5: Westport C v Kilmeena B, Friday 19th August at 7pm, Westport. Note updated venue and time.

There’s also a Division 1 relegation decider on this weekend. This is between Ballintubber and Louisburgh and it takes place at Clogher at midday tomorrow.
Finally, the second match in this year’s Senior hurling Championship will be contested tomorrow. This is between Ballyhaunis and Castlebar Mitchels and that one is set to get underway in Ballyhaunis at 2.30pm.
