After another weekend of knockout action in both the Senior and Intermediate club championships, the race for honours at both levels is now down to the final two. Defending champions Ballintubber have qualified for another tilt at the Moclair Cup where they’ll face surprise packets Ballaghaderreen while the Sweeney Cup will be contested by The Neale and Ballyhaunis.
In this episode of the Mayo News football podcast, host Rob Murphy introduces the show and looks ahead briefly to the fixture list that’s starting to come together for Mayo in 2020.
Then it’s club action all the way. Mike Finnerty and Ger Flanagan take you through the highlights from the games and, in the ‘Bring Him In’ segment, discuss which players stood out best in the white-heat of battle. We also hear post-match thoughts from Ballaghaderreen’s Seamus Cunniffe and Ballintubber manager Kevin Johnson.

Drive home on this dreary wet evening sorted. Thank you guys.
Very good Podcast. Seamus Cunliffe came across as a very confident young man. Hope he gets a decent run at full back next year.
