Connacht GAA today confirmed all the fixture details for this year’s provincial Senior football Championship. Those details are here.

As you know, we’re paired with Sligo in a quarter-final tie and today it was confirmed that this match will be played at Markievicz Park on Saturday, 26th June at 4.30pm.

The winners of that game play Leitrim in the semi-final. If it’s us, the game will be played at MacHale Park and it’s set to be played on Sunday, 11th July at 2pm. The Sunday before then Roscommon and Galway are scheduled to meet at Dr Hyde Park. That game also has a 2pm throw-in time.

The Connacht SFC final has been fixed for Sunday, 25th July at 1.15pm. Should we make it there to defend the Nestor Cup, this year’s decider will be held at MacHale Park.

If that happens, by the way, it’ll be the first provincial final we’ll have contested on home soil since 2014. Let’s not rush our fences, though – for now, our sole focus in this year’s Championship is Sligo at the end of June.

  1. I hope they’re all on TV.

Kevin McStay did a good interview on OTB last week ….worth a listen!

  2. Leeroy is not and never will be a full back. He would make a great sweeper, filling that big whole down the centre of our defense that coughed up so many goals in the league and championship. Bring in Eoin OD at right full, MacBrien at full back and Harry at left full. It also allows Leeroy to make those great runs at the opposition defense. It will never happen as JH has never used one up to now.

  3. Rochford wisely used keegan as a full back in some league games because as a man marker his man can easily be moved to FF

  4. Hello,

5 euro per League, 8 euro per Champ….

    25 Euro Pass for All.
