Donegal review – Mayo News football podcast 2020 E3

There was late drama under the lights up at MacCumhaill Park on Saturday night as a last-gasp goal by James Durcan enabled Mayo to claim a draw from a game they looked likely to lose all evening. The result may have been rough justice on the home team but Mayo will have been delighted to come away from Ballybofey with something tangible to show for their efforts.

In this episode of the Mayo News football podcast we take you to the heart of the action at MacCumhaill Park. Co-hosts Rob Murphy and Ger Flanagan of the Mayo News get the episode underway, following which Mike Finnerty and Billy Joe Padden – who were on commentary duties together at the game for Eir Sports – set the scene for the match.

Rob and Ger provide updates during the game and we also hear snippets of key moments from the match commentary provided by Mike and Billy Joe. Post-game we get reaction from Mayo manager James Horan and Colm Boyle, as well as a Donegal view from Ocean FM commentator Paddy McGill.
