Friday’s t-shirt competition: the result

Right, I’ve sorted all the entries, put all the correct ones into a hat and picked out the today’s winner of the Mayo GAA Blog commemorative All-Ireland final 2012 t-shirt, with thanks to T-Rex Clothing. Having done so I’m happy to announce that today’s winner is Mary Molloy who, like all the others whose names made it to the hat, correctly guessed that the captain of the county’s last All-Ireland winning minor team (which was in 1985, by the way) was Lacken’s Michael Fitzmaurice.

Well done to Mary and thanks to the large number of you who took part in today’s competition. I’ll have the next one up bright and early tomorrow morning.

  1. Well done Mary.

Hope it’s not the only victory you have this month. Let’s hope the talk next week is of football and tactics and players. Fed up of rubbish on which part of Mayo is best and knocking of former managers which I think was not at all necessary. Total solidarity needed now.
Will there be any changes to team does anyone think? Rumour is Gibbons is flying and Boyle won’t start but that’s all they are rumours.
Glad the build up is reasonably quiet for now.
