Galway preview – Mayo News football podcast 2020 E35

For the first time in five years, Mayo are back in a Connacht final this coming Sunday, albeit one that’s set to be contested behind closed doors in the middle of November. But it’s still a provincial decider, a knockout one at that, with silverware and a place in the All-Ireland semi-final for the winners.

In this episode of the Mayo News football podcast we preview Sunday’s Nestor Cup showdown between Mayo and their old rivals Galway. Rob Murphy and I host the show and together we set the scene for Sunday’s big match. Rob then gets a Galway perspective on the game from regular podcast guest and Galway Bay FM pundit Barry Cullinane, following which he catches up with Edwin McGreal and Billy Joe Padden for a detailed tactics talk about the Connacht decider.
