It’s Connacht final day and, in what’s been and continues to be a packed weekend for me, I’m in the throes of unloading the car after yesterday’s exertions and getting ready to hit the road for Roscommon.
So no time for chat, just enough time to wish the lads all the best today. They’ve done us proud over the last four years and we’ll all be willing them on to write the next chapter today. Go for it, lads. Up Mayo!
James Horan made the point during the week that the age profile of our squad is pretty good. Aidan O’Shea, Cillian O’Connor et all are all only entering their mid twenties. Are only beginning to reach their peak now.
More to come from this team.
Good luck lads hope the win I see jod got man of the match yesterday against cork I don’t know how he got it
Already in Roscommon town and I have to say fair play to the Rossies. They have flags for all 3 counties up all over the town on the poles and all the way out to the Hyde Park. Weather staying good and warm enough. Big Sligo crowd here already.
Heres hoping for a good game and a great day. Safe journeys to all travelling.
best of luck to the Mayo panel and entourage today, hope the ould rain stays away and that Mayo keep the pressure on all the way.
Mayo 1 15
Sligo 12
