There’s a serious amount of serious football to be played at Croke Park over the next two days but, before all that gets underway, our minors have a serious match of their own to play as they face Offaly in the All-Ireland quarter-final at Hyde Park in a bit over an hour’s time. I couldn’t make it to Roscommon for today’s match but I will be listening in to it on Midwest and I’ll provide some updates on the action via Twitter as the game progresses.
Whatever about the seniors, the county has a proud record in recent years at minor level and Tony Duffy’s charges are now only 60 minutes away from a third successive All-Ireland semi-final appearance at this level. We’re strong favourites to win today but I’ve no idea how strong the Faithful County’s minors are. I guess we’ll all find out soon enough and hopefully our lads will be more than ready for the challenge they’ll face. Best of luck today lads.
come the mayo minors you can do it all the way this time please
