Hurling match against Derry switched to Owenbeg

Those who plan to provide vocal support to the county’s hurling team on Sunday need to be aware that the venue for the NHL Division 2B match against Derry that afternoon has been switched from Celtic Park to the Derry COE at Owenbeg.

Throw-in for the game remains at 1pm and tickets for it are available to purchase here.

Speaking of hurling, Christy O’Connor has a marvellous piece in the Irish Examiner about Pierce and Keith Higgins and the genesis of the Hurling for Hope initiative. This is well worth a read and you’ll find it here.
