I mentioned yesterday the new podcast series that Rob Murphy has launched looking back at Italia ’90. The first episode of Italia ’90 – One Day at a Time is now online and you can listen to it on the Anchor player below. It’s also available on Anchor.fm and on Spotify.

Joining Rob and co-host Ciaran O’Hara for this opening episode are a host of familiar names, including Billy Joe Padden, Colin Sheridan and Michael Foley of the Sunday Times as together they look back on the first day’s action in the 1990 finals. And what a day it was too, with nine-man Cameroon pulling off one of the greatest shock results in World Cup history by beating holders Argentina. Enjoy!
