It’s Armagh on Sunday week for the women

As was the case last year, and the year before that as well, the final Mayo team left standing this year is the women’s football one.

They’ve been drawn to play Armagh in this year’s LGFA All-Ireland SFC quarter-final, a game in which the Orchard County will, as a group winner, have home advantage. The match has been fixed for the Athletic Grounds in the Cathedral City – a cracking venue for a match at any time of the year – and it takes place on Sunday week, 7th July, at 5.45pm.

Ticket information will be made available in due course. Mayo LGFA are, as you’d expect, calling on all Mayo fans to turn out and support the team as they look to book their passage to the All-Ireland semi-final for the fourth successive year.
