It was also announced today that Midwest Radio will have live coverage of Sunday’s match. Diane O’Hora and Tom Carney will be on commentary for the game on the station’s Sunday Sports Show.
Best of luck to the Mayo ladies this year. Peter Leahy has performed miracles since losing 12 players from his panel over the dispute with the Carnacon player(s). Despite this he has managed to keep Mayo among the top four teams in the country. Now he has lost 4 of his best forwards to the AFL and it’s going to be a struggle to stay in Division 1. He deserves a break so I hope he manages to discover some forward talent to replace those who left. Peter and the ladies deserve all our support and a big turnout this Sunday would be a good start.
Best of luck to all teams involved this weekend I have missed this feeling so bad!
I think the most important news is that the money dispute has solved!
Thank the lord for that and so say all of us
Up mayo wherever you go
Best of luck to Mayo ladies, hope to get to Swinford on Sunday. Is there no hope of getting a mediator to resolve the differences between Carnacon and Leahy? Is the jealousy of Carnacon so deep in Mayo that the rest of the County want to exclude them? Or has Leahy got a stranglehold on Mayo Ladies Co Board so strong that he prevents them from moving on the issue?
So true about Peter and this team. They surely are talented and competitive. Despite all the set backs they just keep on believing. Best of luck to our women and all the Mayo warriors in the upcoming games. Maigheo abú
