This is just a quick one to note the details of next year’s LGFA National League fixtures, which were confirmed the other day. The 2023 campaign will, for the first time since Covid, be a proper one, comprising eight teams in Division One, each of which will play seven regulation matches, with the top two qualifying for the final.
Here’s the schedule we face in Division One next spring:
- ROUND 1: Mayo v Cork, Sunday 22nd January
- ROUND 2: Mayo v Kerry, Sunday 29th January
- ROUND 3: Waterford v Mayo, Sunday 5th February
- ROUND 4: Meath v Mayo, Sunday 19th February
- ROUND 5: Dublin v Mayo, Sunday 26th February
- ROUND 6: Mayo v Galway, Sunday 19th March
- ROUND 7: Donegal v Mayo, Sunday 26th March
The first-named teams in the above ties have home advantage so that means we have three home fixtures and four away ones in our upcoming Division One campaign. Details of match venues and throw-in times will be confirmed in due course.
