LGFA semi-finals confirmed for Croke Park next Saturday

I’d thought I was done with Croke Park this year but as it happens I’m off to HQ tomorrow for the Dublin/Kerry All-Ireland semi-final and it now looks like I’ll be back there next Saturday too, as the LGFA All-Ireland SFC semi-finals are being played there as a double-header.

As this tweet appears to confirm, it’s defending champions Meath against Donegal at 2pm followed by ourselves and Kerry at 4pm. Tickets aren’t on sale yet but I expect they will be soon.

  1. @MadMayoRob… Wrong thread …Galway not involved in Ladies All Ireland semi final …
Well done Mayo .Great gutsy win ..

  2. They would not madmayoRob Galway are a credit to their county they have forwards that can score something we must find or we will never win Sam. Congratulations to the ladies a fine achievement especially as we have a lot of top class players in Oz

  3. Well done to our ladies and their management team yesterday. They went out with a clear game plan and it worked. The pushed right up in the Cork kickout all day which completely unsettled the Cork goalie and defence. This is something our minors should have done against Galway on Friday evening instead of sitting back giving them easy possession and letting them walk the ball up the field unchallenged.
Even when Cork won their kickouts our girls kept the pressure on them and when we had the ball we moved it fast giving Cork no time to settle.

  4. Congratulations to our ladies on a great win. I thought their confidence might have suffered after the big loss to Dublin but it looks like they identified some weaknesses and worked on them at training. A great day’s work by team and management.
