London’s calling once again for the podcast

We had an absolute ball when we took the Mayo Football Podcast over to London in the run-up to the 2017 All-Ireland final and the pod is heading back there again this coming weekend to coincide with the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Mayo Association London.

The event takes place on Friday night at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge, where around 500 people are expected to attend. There’s set to be a strong Mayo GAA theme to the proceedings, with special guests on the night including Lee Keegan, Andy Moran, Colm Boyle, David Clarke, Jason Doherty and Kevin McLoughlin.

If you’re over in London and fancy attending there are a limited number of tickets still available. If this is of interest, you’ll need to mail Mayo Association London (here) for details.

Mike and Rob are travelling over for the event this weekend – sadly, other commitments back here mean I’m not able to join them for it – and the podcast that never sleeps will be recording new audio while there. This content will be available on Patreon from next week so club members should stay tuned for it then. Details on how to join the club are here.

  1. Should be an interesting pod and a great selection of mayo heroes/legends on show. Regarding mayo i see December 30th they’re back in action v the club allstars in garrymore. Should attract a big crowd with folks wanting to get away from the turkey and sweets for a few hours and also to support a good cause.

  2. Part 1 of our podcast recorded live in London at the Mayo Association London’s 60th anniversary celebrations last weekend is up now on Patreon. Loads of voices on it, including Seamus Tuohy, David Clarke, Colm Boyle, Joe Gilmore, Tom Maloney and many more. Part 2, featuring Lee Keegan, Andy Moran and many others, will be online later in the week.
