Mayo Football Podcast episode: Mayo win in New York, now available on all podcast platforms

Mayo have beaten New York by a scoreline of 2-21 to 2-6 in the Connacht Championship quarter-final at Gaelic Park in the Bronx.

Rob, Mike and Rob were joined at Gaelic Park by Colm Boyle, John Casey and Seán Reilly. There’s also post-match reaction from Mayo manager Kevin McStay, New York manager Alan O’Mara and Mayo captain Paddy Durcan.

  1. Thank god a smaller margin then 2019 fixture but New York will have Galway next year 2025, Roscommon in 2026, Sligo in 2027 & Leitrim in 2028. But no overseas trips for Mayo in 2025, 2027 or 2028 but in 2026 a London meeting back.

Great to see Junior clubs like Lacken Sarsfields , Lahardane McHales and Eastern Gaels have players on the Mayo Under 17 panel.great credit most go to the club coaches and parents of these players .The amalgamation of Eastern Gaels and Ballyhaunis ,St Jarlaths as it is known has been a great success.3 in total on the panel.
