  1. Great listen. Had a good laugh at the story of not handing over the cup to the captain and was thinking only nice mayo would inform against themselves.

  2. @No doubt,a bit like the way they tumbled out of the back of the Elverys kit van with their hands up as soon as they got inside Croke Park during COVID. Lol.

  3. And to think for years I had a set against Paddy Buggy for not presenting the cup to Eddie Gibbons.

    Fair play to Mick Loftus for asking the players not to fill the cup….he was a man before his time. And back then I would have probably thought of him as a crank

    Ireland was a indeed different country back in the early 80s-as I often told my kids that we had a black and white TV with 2 stations-a farming program in one and Mass on the other
