Minor team to face Roscommon named

It’s wall-to-wall team announcement time at the minute so, without further ado, here’s our starting fifteen and subs (lots of them) for Sunday’s Connacht minor semi-final against Roscommon at McHale Park (throw-in 12 pm):

  1. Anybody under 18 still playing football in Belmullet, Kiltane or Crossmolina or have they all emigrated like their forefathers?

  2. Bar Eamon McAndrew of Belmullet, last year was the same story from what I remember.
    With Belmullet’s Liam Lavelle as a selector for the minors, you’d think he’d have some idea of the talent around that area. Maybe it’s just not there, or maybe we need to think about closing a few of the pubs in town to keep the lads minds on football
