It’s nearing crunch time in this year’s League campaign and things are coming nicely to the boil in the prediction mini-league as well.
Following last weekend’s series of games we have a new leader in the mini-league. The young buck had a bit of a mare in his predictions for last weekend – I completely forgot to do mine and the default number of points I was awarded was higher than what he got – and so he slips from top spot to third. My senior moment only cost me a few places in the table, I’m down from 32nd to 37th, but that’s all academic in the overall scheme of things.
Liam Murphy – who was second in the table going into the weekend – now heads into the second-last full week of matches with a 33-point cushion at the top. As last weekend’s results proved, though, things can change rapidly from week to week so it’s all to play for yet.
