The list of nominees for this year’s TG4 LGFA All-Stars was announced this afternoon and Mayo have nine players on the list. Our nine nominees are Danielle Caldwell, Éilis Ronayne, Ciara McManamon, Ciara Whyte, Sinéad Cafferky, Niamh Kelly, Grace Kelly, Sarah Rowe and Rachel Kearns. Congrats to each and every one of them.
As you’d expect, three-in-a-row champions Dublin lead the way with thirteen nominees while beaten finalists Galway have, like us, nine. Cork have seven, while Tipperary and Tyrone have two each. Donegal, Armagh and Meath each have one nominee. Details of all the nominees are here.
The 2019 TG4 All-Star team will be announced at a gala banquet at the Citywest Hotel on Saturday, 16th November, at which the winners of the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Players’ Player of the Year awards will also be named.

Great achievement to get nine nominations especially after all that happened off the pitch last year. Overall the Ladies had a very good year and hopefully they’ll continue to build on that next year.
