The county champions at Senior, Intermediate and Junior levels are all in Connacht Championship semi-final action this coming weekend, all three of them against Galway opposition.

Ballina Stephenites, fresh from their opening round win over Fulham Irish on Saturday night, travel to Pearse Stadium on Saturday to take on Galway champions Corofin in the Connacht SFC semi-final. Throw-in at Salthill is 2pm that afternoon.

Kilmeena and Lahardane MacHales are playing at roughly the same time on Sunday. Lahardane get going first, with their Connacht JFC semi-final against Menlough throwing in at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park at 1pm. Kilmeena’s Connacht IFC semi-final against Monivea Abbey gets underway at Tuam Stadium that afternoon at 1.30pm.
