Return of the NFL prediction mini-league

Allianz Predicition League 2016

As I mentioned earlier on, with the imminent start of this year’s National Football League comes with it the imperative to launch the 2016 NFL prediction mini-league. This is the eighth running of this prestigious competition and the launch of this year’s event – which is what this post is about – offers all-comers another shot at match prediction immortality.

Previous contestants will know the score (well, that might be stretching it in the case of some of you whose prediction skills, or lack of same, were exposed in previous years) about what you need to do to sign up for the mini-league, which once again is being fronted by Allianz with technical support from Face The Ball.

What you need to do is:

  • Go to the Allianz League Predictions website (here)
  • Log in or register and then join the “Allianz Football League Competition”, a link to which is on the left-hand side of the page
  • Once you’ve done that and have entered the competition, you’ll arrive at the Week 1 predictions page, which has a load of links on the left-hand side. Click the one that says “Join Football Mini League”
  • Enter the code oRpAmHQcEggk when prompted to do so.

That’s all there’s to it.

The League sponsors Allianz will be offering chances to win cash both for yourself and your club of choice (when you register you have to link yourself with a club) as the League progresses. There are weekly and monthly prizes, with the overall winner getting €500 and his/her nominated club getting €2,500. This could be your chance to earn the status of local hero.

The deadline for Week 1 predictions is this coming Saturday (30th January) at 7pm so if you want to join in the fun don’t delay. Best of luck to everyone who takes part this year.

  1. What’s the problem, RosTown? If you follow the steps set out in the post you should be okay but if you’re getting snagged somewhere in particular can you let me know and I’ll see what I can do about it?

  2. Folks,

Not trying to de-rail this thread & Sorry for posting this again, just want to get this detail before flights are booked.

4 of us are planning on going to the Mayo/London match this year. From a ticket point of view is it best to buy these here in centra/supervalu before going or would you be able to pay on the gate over there?

    Thanks In Advance

  3. Thanks Guys,

So i take it I cant buy tickets yet, i will have to wait until they go on sale in the weeks leading up to the match?

  4. ToWinJustOnce – I think that’s right. I’m not sure what the story is for season ticket holders – the first championship game is included in the season ticket price but I assume by that they mean the first that takes place within the country and that this one is a “special”. As information on ticketing for the Ruislip game becomes available, I’ll post relevant details here.

  5. I am stopped by my Anti Virus software from getting into the allianz league prediction page. Anyone else with this problem. Would hate to miss the start of the league.

  6. RosTown/Sinabhuil – I’m no IT guru but if your anti-virus software is stopping you reaching Allianz Leagues Predictions website then surely the issue is with the software on your PC and so something you could sort yourselves? Have you tried logging into the site using a smartphone? It’s a bit clunkier to do but it should work okay.

  7. Hi, ToWinJustOnce, all the tickets are sold at the gate except the holders coming from Mayo so no problem there or with capacity.
No seating which means tickets won’t get you a specific location or advantage.
Posting this as others may be also in doubt about the setup.Living in london so know the score re Ruislip.Hope this may be of some help-Sean.
