The revived Shannon Medals GAA Tournament takes place in Ballina this coming Saturday. The Tournament, which has been revived after a three-decade absence as part of the Ballina 2023 celebrations, will feature teams from Mayo, Tyrone, Donegal and Roscommon in what’s set to be an action-packed one-day football blitz.
The Tournament, which is kindly sponsored by Joseph Murphy (Ballina) Limited, gets going at 1pm on Saturday, with matches taking place at Ballina Stephenites GAA, both the front pitch and the Showgrounds, and at St Muredach’s College. The teams taking part are Ballina Stephenites, Knockmore, Mayo Gaels, St Eunan’s of Letterkenny, An Charraig Mhór Naomh Colmcille of Tyrone and Roscommon Gaels.
