Team named for LGFA Connacht final

We’ve named our starting fifteen for tomorrow’s LGFA Connacht SFC final against Galway. Here it is:

Mayo (LGFA Connacht SFC final v Galway, 7/5/2023): Laura Brennan (Hollymount); Éilis Ronayne (Davitts), Róisín Flynn (Knockmore), Danielle Caldwell (Castlebar Mitchels); Ciara Needham (Louisburgh), Fiona McHale (Carnacon), Kathryn Sullivan (Castlebar Mitchels, captain); Aoife Geraghty (Westport), Sinéad Cafferky (Kilmovee Shamrocks); Sarah Mulvihil (Knockmore), Sinéad Walsh (MacHale Rovers), Maria Cannon (Burrishoole); Lisa Cafferky (Kilmovee Shamrocks), Rachel Kearns (MacHale Rovers), Tara Needham (Louisburgh).

Tomorrow’s game is the curtain-raiser at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park ahead of the men’s Nestor Cup decider, with the LGFA match getting underway at 11.30am. It’s being streamed live on the LGFA Player (details here). Tickets for tomorrow’s double-header are available to purchase here.
