  1. Best of luck to the ladies. A lot of young players in there. Will be a serious team in a few years and can be challenging for titles for the next ten.

  2. Good luck to Erin and the Mayo ladies team and panel playing against Armagh Up Mayo

  3. Future looks very good for the ladies, some great young players coming down the line.

  4. Good luck to all today. Here’s hoping for progress to the next stage!

  5. John O’Mahoney RIP. A sad loss for Mayo and Connacht football. A true legend and gentleman.

  6. John O’Mahoney RIP Great achievements with Mayo and Galway, but Leitrim in 1994 has to be among the legendary achievements of football. Sad loss for Mayo and the G.A.A world. Condolences to his family and friends.

  7. Very sad day to hear that John O Mahony has passed to his eternal reward. A legendary manager that led Galway to 2 All-Ireland titles. Deepest condolences to John’s family and many friends.

  8. RIP John O Mahony, did so much for Connacht football since his first stent with Mayo back in 1987.

He still has the record of the only Mayo manager to win a Senior Inter County All Ireland since the Galway 3 in a row in mid 1960’s.

  9. It was the banner in 1989 that will always be imprinted in my brain . Keep the Faith
John O Mahony – a true gentleman and a GAA legend when it came to management. RIP

  10. @Robe Green & Red, his sister in law was holding that banner and I’m the same imprinted in my brain.

What a great GAA man he was and gave serious service to the sport may he RIP.

  11. Sad to hear of Johno’s passing. He had a way of making the game look simple and enjoyable for all. We were lucky that he stepped into the Galway job after his time with Leitrim.

  12. Fair play to Armagh manager for acknowledging the ridiculous time this is at.

  13. Armagh away head of us. Just scored another goal. Goodbye for another year for Mayo .

  14. So many moves have broke down through misplaced passes . Armagh still much better team, pressing our kick outs and alot more direct.

  15. This has been an awful performance . Armagh by far the better side though in fairness.

  16. I wonder what “principles ” exactly did MacHale fall out with the others over.

  17. A Shocking void in Class between the 2 teams.
The sooner we Start a Forwards school for all grades in Mayo football the better.

  18. Very poor execution of the basic skills by Mayo – handpassing and shooting very very poor.
The team have gone back big time this year under McHale

  19. I very disappointed with the mayo ladies. I think MAYO need a young and enthusiastic manager

  20. Wasn’t great at all hard luck ladies a very dissapointing in general for mayo gaa..

I don’t know what happened but I know we need a big cone back next year.

Mchale left the mcstay cause he didn’t like the style of play that’s obvious but I think we just came across a far better side in Armagh ladies today end of the day.
