The weekend’s matches

We’ve three matches on this weekend, all of which take place on Saturday, with two of these taking place on home turf.

First up are the county’s camogie team, whose Camogie League Division 4 Round 2 match against Louth takes place at Adrian Freeman Park on Saturday. Throw-in at Tooreen is 2pm and the link for tickets is here.

At 2.30pm that afternoon in Mallow, meanwhile, the county’s women footballers take on Cork in Round 5 of the LGFA NFL Division One. This game is being streamed live on TG4’s YouTube channel (so I’ll embed it here for ease of viewing) and the ticket link for the game is here.

That evening, the lads take on Roscommon in Round 5 of the National League Division One. This one takes place under the lights at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park where throw-in is 7.30pm. The match is live on TG4 and the ticket link for it is here. Tickets are also available for this game in the old-fashioned way – as in using real tickets, made from paper – via selected Centra and SuperValu outlets.

  1. Have often stopped in a Centra or supervalue on the way to a game and bought a ticket when someone has last minute decided they were coming with me. Think it’s up to a hour before throw in.

  2. Thanks Richie, will see how many going by Saturday and get them then. Sounds like a cold and wet night so in early to the stand!

  3. Some proper encounters on this weekend. The league table looks like a dogs dinner at the moment. Wins for Mayo, Derry, Kerry and Monaghan I’m going for which probably means none of the above shall win!

  4. Think we’ll get a proper pasting on Saturday from Roscommon. Either way, we’re going to find out a lot about ourselves.
