Kerry named their team a short time ago for tomorrow evening’s League match against us at Austin Stack Park, Tralee (throw-in 7pm). Here’s their match-day 26 for this Round 2 NFL tie:

Subs: Brendan Kealy (Kilcummin), Tom O’Sullivan (Dingle), Jason Foley (Ballydonoghue), Michael Geaney (Dingle), Barry John Keane (Kerins O’Rahillys), Barry O’Sullivan (Dingle), Brendan O’Sullivan (Valentia), Conor Keane Killarney (Legion), Conor Geaney (Dingle), Gavin Crowley (Templenoe), Denis Daly (St Marys).
The Kingdom’s line-up for tomorrow evening shows three changes from the side that started against Donegal in last Sunday’s opening round game. Out go the injured Mark Enright, as well as U21 players Jason Foley and Tom O’Sullivan. Into the team to face us come three debutants – Ronan Shanahan at corner-back, Jack Barry at midfield and Adrian Spillane at wing-forward.
With other newbies Tadhg Morley and Jack Savage also named to start tomorrow night, the Kerry line-up is a much-changed one from the side that got the better of us when we met in the League at MacHale Park in March last year. Only four of the team that started that game – Mark Griffin, Peter Crowley, Paul Murphy and Donnchadh Walsh – are named to start tomorrow evening.
In addition to that quartet, Jonathan Lyne, who came on as a sub in MacHale Park last year, is also in the team for tomorrow. So too is former Footballer of the Year, James O’Donoghue, who missed most of last year through injury but is back in action again.
Hmm…. Just Parsons in for Kirby. I thought he did enough to hold his place. If anything, I thought Donie might be the one to sit it out
Mayo team named too, Parsons in for Kirby is the only change.
Seeing the 2 teams on paper I’d be worried about our prospects.
Mayo , much stronger on paper & will be up for this one . Mayo by 4 points
