Tickets and team tomorrow

Mayo GAA (via Twitter) have confirmed that tickets for Sunday’s match will go on sale at McHale Park tomorrow (Wednesday). The ticket office will be open from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm tomorrow. They also say that ticket distribution via clubs will happen between 5pm and 8pm on Thursday.

The same source has also clarified that the team details for Sunday won’t be released tonight, with the announcement instead now happening at some stage tomorrow.

  1. Likely to be the smallest crowd at a q/f double bill since its inception. Will they get 20k? Kerry and Cork will have little support. Limerick are pulling from a relatively small pocket. I know there is the Croker reward particularly for Limerick but playing in a quarter full HQ is not what championship knock out is about. Time provincial champions were given a home q/f as mooted by one P. Joyce in 2008.
