It’s been announced this evening that tomorrow’s FBD opener against Leitrim has been switched from Ballinamore to Ballyhaunis (throw-in will still be at 2 pm).  The move will obviously make it far easier for those of you domiciled down there to make it to this first game of the James Horan era but I’m now abandoning the plans I’d made to witness this historic event at first hand.  Ballinamore would have been a tolerable enough trek on a raw day in January but having done a round-trip to the Haunis for an FBD match a couple of years back, it’s not something I’m tempted to repeat tomorrow.  So, like many others, I’ll have to make do with live updates from the ground instead.
