Unchanged team to play Kerry in semi-final

The Mayo team to play Kerry in tomorrow’s LGFA All-Ireland Senior football semi-final was named last night. It’s the same fifteen who lined out in last weekend’s quarter-final win over Cork and is as follows:

Mayo (LGFA All-Ireland semi-final v Kerry, 16/7/2022): Aisling Tarpey (Foxrock/Cabinteely); Éilis Ronayne (Davitts), Róisín Flynn (Knockmore), Danielle (Castlebar Mitchels); Tamara O’Connor (Cill Chomain), Fiona McHale (Carnacon), Kathryn Sullivan (Castlebar Mitchels, captain); Sinéad Cafferkey (Kilmovee Shamrocks), Aoife Geraghty (Westport); Shauna Howley (Knockmore), Sinéad Walsh (MacHale Rovers), Sarah Mulvihill (Knockmore); Lisa Cafferkey (Kilmovee Shamrocks), Ciara Whyte (Kilmoremoy), Tara Needham (Westport).

If you’re planning on heading to Croke Park tomorrow – where our game throws in at 2pm – tickets for it are available to purchase here. It’s also being broadcast live on TG4 with full radio commentary on Midwest.

The very best of luck to Michael Moyles and his team in tomorrow’s All-Ireland semi-final.

  1. The management job Michael Moyles has done given the huge turnover of players is absolutely outstanding.

  2. Good luck to the Mayo Ladies on Saturday. Considering all the players they have lost to the AFL, Michael Moyles is doing a very impressive job with the team. Up Mayo.

  3. Best of luck to the ladies

Totally off topic I’m looking for one ticket for the hurling final on Sun
Long shot I know but any help greatly appreciated

    Thanks

  4. @St Pats Oldie – The GAA announced there some are on General Sale on ticketmaster for the hurling final this morning.

  5. Good luck to all involved with the ladies. Great to be able to keep the flag flying.

  6. That’s mad that there are tickets for sale today.
All the best to team v Kerry

  7. With Cork and Dublin out of the running, all four teams will feel they have a good chance of winning it outright. Sounds like the Kerry forward O’Muircheartaigh is the new Cora Staunton so she will have to be marked very tightly. Armagh’s Aimee Mackin beat us on her own in the quarter final 2 years ago so hopefully lessons were learnt from that game. Best of luck girls, you’re Mayo’s last hope of all ireland glory this year.

  8. Best of luck to our women…I am very proud of how they have survived the departure of so many big names and remained so competitive. They are well able to beat this Kerry team, which has some fantastic talent. Moyles and his team have shown that they are improving, game on game. I wish them the very best of Saturday and, who knows, maybe this is the start of another golden era for women’s football in Mayo. Maigheo abu.

  9. Best of luck ladies….. doing your county proud and inspiring the next generation

  10. Good luck to the Mayo women today in their semi-final versus Kerry.
I’m looking forward to watching the game. Every success to ye.
