Week 3 predictions – the outcome

Right, the exhaustive count and re-count has now been completed and I can reveal the results of the weekend’s set of predictions.

First on the Setanta competition where this week’s winner is Enda McGearty. Enda’s name will now go into the draw at the end of the league for a year’s sub via satellite to Setanta Sports and he also wins a copy of Breandan O hEithir’s Over The Bar.

Next up is the mini-league which this week only resulted in minor positional switches compared to last. I’d say most of us were caught out by the Antrim and Laois wins and few, if any, would have got the draw between Donegal and Laois either.  As a result, there wasn’t any great variation among contestants in terms of points garnered this week, hence the lack of dramatic movement in the table.  I’m up to second, though, so I guess I’ll need to start thinking about what this year’s prizes should be.
